Objectives of the Course

The course aims to teach basic laboratory techniques in the field of classical bacteriology and plant pathogen bacteria.

Course Content

Methods of isolation of plant pathogenic bacteria from disease plants, media and cultivation methods, bacterial counting, inoculum preparation, pathogenicity and inoculation methods, disease counting and evaluation, basic laboratory applications including biochemical tests and diagnostic keys.
