To teach basic concepts and methods in organic surface coatings technology. To provide current and in-depth knowledge on organic surface coatings and technology.
Organic binders and natural resins, vinyl and acrylic polymers, alkyd resins, polyurethane and epoxy surface coatings, analysis and mechanical testing of organic coatings and recent advances on bio-based organic coatings and their nanocomposite derivatives.
