Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to explain and model the data obtained by survey methods in rangeland vegetation, which is closely related to environmental factors, with different analysis methods.

Course Content

Determining the existing vegetation in the rangeland is important for management and rangeland improvement studies. There are various analytical measurement methods in order to examine the correlations of the data obtained as a result of the vegetation studies with environmental factors. These methods and subsequent data visualization are used to identify current vegetation and determine future forecast projections. In this course, information will be presented on how and which analysis the data obtained will be analyzed. This information includes ordination methods, different analytical evaluations and reading the literature with future projections.

Learning Outcomes
1.. Understanding the concept of vegetation in meadow and pasture areas and obtaining the species in vegetation from the land
2.. Preparing the obtained data for statistical analysis with different methods such as no/no, Braun-Blanquet, coating
3.Explanation of vegetation-environment relations in the orientation plane (RA,CCA,DCA,PCA etc.)
4.Visualization of vegetation data obtained from pasture areas with the help of R Studio
5.. Acquisition of literature literacy on decision tree, possible models in the near and far future
