Objectives of the Course

This course will address the impacts of climate change on the natural habitats and ecologies of medicinal plants. Students will learn how plant species can respond to climate change and the effects of these responses on plant growth, development, and biochemical components.

Course Content

This course aims to explore how climate change factors impact the physiological processes of plants and how plants respond to these changes. Students will learn about the effects of climate change on various biological characteristics of plants, such as growth, development, and flowering. Additionally, they will study the impacts on the quantity, diversity, and activity of biochemical components. The course will also focus on interpreting models, scenarios, and projections related to climate change and developing knowledge and skills in the conservation and sustainable use of medicinal plants.
