Teaching the principles of calf rearing

Course Content

Digestive system of calf, colostrum quality, importance of colostrum for new born calf, milk feeding of calves, communicating with calf, disease prevention of calves, calf behaviours

1.to be able to gain basic knowledge abour calf rearing
2.to be able to acquire the qualification about the importance of colostrum feeding for calves
3.to be able to gain knowledge and qualification about the digestive system, milk feeding period and weaning of calves
4.to be able to acquire the qualification about disease control of calves
5.to be able to acquire the qualification about calf behaviours, housing and welfare
6.Having proficiency in calf nutrition, milk replacers and the properties of solid feeds given to calves.
