Objectives of the Course

to give information on the methods of increasing fertility and determination of factors affecting fertility in sheep and goats

Course Content

to give information about fertility traits of sheep and goat breeds in Turkey and over the World , methods and recent studies which were done about increasing fertility.

Learning Outcomes
1.to be able to acquire basic knowledge about genotypes of sheep and goat in the World and in Turkey
2.to be able to acquire knowledge about environmental and genotypic effects on the reproduction performances
3.to be able to acquire knowledge about physiological mechanisms effect on the reproduction.
4.to be able to gain skills about management of reproduction and fertility in sheep and goats
5.to be able to gain skills about using techniques on herd management and controlling productive performance.
6.to be able to apply the improving productive performance in sheep and goat herd management
7.to be able to gain the ability for decreasing kit and lamb losses before, during and after birth, and lamb and goat rearing, provide economical husbandry.
