Objectives of the Course

It aims to teach literacy skills in preschool period and makes student implement literacy activities.

Course Content

This lesson includes, literacy approaches, development of literacy skills in preschool period, factors effecting to development of literacy skills, oral language skills, world knowledge, alphabet knowledge, phonological process skills and writing awareness, assessment of literacy skills and planning of literacy preparation activities in preschool period.

Learning Outcomes
1.Define skills of literacy in pre-education period.
2.Possess the information of studies before writing, knowledge of alphabet, phonological awareness, vocabulary data, pronunciation and linguistic language ability, skills of basic concepts in pre-education period.
3.Plan and practice studies of preparation in literacy aimed to develop the skills of literacy.
4.Follows the approaches towards the development of literacy skills
5.Follow the international literature on literacy skills
