Objectives of the Course

This course deals with the subjects of being able to recognize the basic concepts related to recognizing and evaluating the child, knowing the techniques for recognizing and evaluating the child, seeing the different aspects of each other by discussing different recognition techniques, and what method should be followed in evaluation.

Course Content

The purpose and importance of recognıtıon and evaluating the child; recognizing children in terms of different developmental characteristics, principles of recognizing children, techniques and characteristics used in recognizing children (observation, interview, sociometry, portfolio (development file) and documentation, rubric); standard tests used in early childhood (developmental tests, projective tests)
