Objectives of the Course

The purpose of this course is to prepare nurses for the holistic approach in accordance with ethical principles regarding the care, treatment and follow-up of a patient monitored in the intensive care unit.

Course Content

The course covers topics related to the prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and care of acute and chronic problems of the cardiovascular system and training on them.

1. Discuss various diagnostic tests performed for patients with cardio thoracic and vascular disorders
2. Describe cardio- thoracic and vascular diseases and their management
3.Discuss he etiology of cardiovascular system diseases, risk factors, the signs and symptoms
4.Provide training related to the cardiovascular system diseases, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and management of the disease on the individual / family and community.
5.Reaches of scientific knowledge for nursing care given to diseases of the cardiovascular system.
