Objectives of the Course

Aim of medical nursing I course explores health promotion and biopsychosocial concepts in the management of the adult.

Course Content

Medical Nursing course focuses on the concepts and theories related to health promotion, fluid and electrolytes, acid-base balance, cancer treatment, care of cancer patients and immunological and Neurological disorders.

Learning Outcomes
1.Recognize specific nursing interventions related to fluid and electrolytes and acid base balances.
2.Description the nursing interventions in relation to health promotion in illness and alterations in immunology, cardiovascular, and nerveous systems.
3.Prepare nursing care plan of patients receiving cancer treatment
4.Examine the importance of biopsychosocial, pathophysiological and pharmacological concepts in health care by using the adaptive, preventative, restorative and health education measures to maintain optimal functioning for clients with the above system alterations.
5.Prepare nursing care plan to patients using nursing process.
6.Demonstrate leadership qualities and function effectively as nurse educator and manager.
