Objectives of the Course

This course aims to teach the pregnancy, labor ,post-natal periods, the woman ,the newborn physiology, evaluation and nursing care focuses on these subjects.

Course Content

conception, fetal growth, the anatomy and physiology of pregnancy, the importance of prenatal care, maternal and fetal nutrition, assessment of mother and fetus during pregnancy, childbirth preparation, preparation for parenting, labor, birth and labor varieties of nursing care, fetal assessment in labor, neonatal physiology, physical adaptation, assessment and care of the newborn and breast feeding, the physiology of the postpartum period, postpartum care and the importance of the evaluation of the mother's parenting adaptation during the postpartum period.

2.To be able to explain anatomy and physiology of the pregnancy, prenatal care, nutrition support for mother and fetus and evaluation of maternal and fetal period.

4.To be able to explain evaluation Labor, birth and labor and fetal growth
5.To be able to Count nursing care on labor
6.To be able to explain Newborn physiology, physical adaptation, evaluation and care.
7.To be able to explain the newborn nutrition and breastfeeding
8.To be able to explain the physiology of Postpartum period and care
9.To be able to assses Mother who is in the postpartum period physically and mentally
10.To be able to explain the adaptation of parenting
