Objectives of the Course

The aim of the lesson is to provide an understanding of the reasons for government intervention in the economy

Course Content

The role of public sector in the economy, fiscal policy in the IS-LM-BP model, the interaction between fiscal and monetary policy, the fiscal policy multipliers in macroeconometric models, the impact of fiscal policy on economic growth.
