Objectives of the Course

In this course, the aim is to teach the fundamental subjects and the developments about cryptology. After the students learn the algorithms of cryptology, they will develop some applications using these algorithms.

Course Content

Introduction to cryptography. History of cryptography. Classical methods of cryptography. Symmetric algorithms. Data encryption standard (DES). Asymmetric algorithms. Rivest, Shamir, Adleman Algorithm (RSA). El Gamal algorithm. Digital Signs Standards. Cryptographic Protocols.
