Objectives of the Course

To know about the Hellenistic and Roman Period ceramics, typology and chronology, get to know of style development, ceramic production properties of Hellenistic and Roman Period, to identify of Hellenistic and Roman Period centres and findings, to know about researches and publications on Hellenistic and Roman ceramics.

Course Content

The pottery of Roman Imperial period in Anatolian settlements and their production technologies, local features, distrubitions, dating problems, cultural interactions are studied with archaeological data.
