Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course, to give information about the seasonal and geographical distribution of the Neolithic cultures of Anatolia.

Course Content

Definition of Neolithic, basic concepts and terms associated with the Neolithic, the Anatolian chronology of the period, formation and characteristics of seasonal and regional cultural groups during the Neolithic period in Anatolia, the size of the interactions between Anatolia and neighbouring cultures, according to general features and culture groups, architecture, stone works, terracotta works and later early ceramic works will examined with detail.

2.To learn about the history of Neolithic period researches in Anatolia and Middle East.
3.To learn about the Anatolian Neolithic cultures with the basis of the regions
4.To learn about the Anatolian Neolithic cultures with the basis of the phases
5.To be informed about material culture items that produced under the period of course.
