Objectives of the Course

To evaluate of archaeological findings related with burial customs from beginning to until second half of the first millennium B.C. and understanding of religious, sociological, economic and cultural perspective on the idea of life and death of the Anatolian societies.

Learning Outcomes
1.1. From the first settlers to producer community, from producer community to village settlements, urbanism, the finding analyse of beliefs, socio-economic lives to reveal the reflection of the burial customs on process to state.
2.2. The causes of death, age related with working on reports on the social structures, the nutrition, gain the ability to determine the conditions that influence survival of Anatolian graves with skeletons in Protohistoric Period.
3.3. To evaluate on the grave findings from chemical, anthropological, sociological results of test and analyses and to consolidate the cultural results with analytical thinking to win.
4.4. Anatolian protohistoric grave findings comparable with the surroundings culture findings elucidate the similarities and differences, to identify, evaluate and to have the knowledge on originality-cultural exchange and to have the ability to use this information in the study area.
