Objectives of the Course

To read any text in Arabic alphabet and to convert it into the Latin alphabet and write a Latin letter-text with the Arabic alphabet Learn both former Turkish poetry and poetry in the meaning of words commonly used in the poems and distinguish between Arabic and Persian, to use them in any text. To detect radicals of Arabic words and to derivate new words

1.Having knowledge about the structure of Ottoman Turkish
2.Understanding the linguistic use of Arabic and Persian grammar and lexical elements

5.The students are able to read and understand prose and poetry written in Ottoman Turkish, and transcribe to contemporary Turkish
