Objectives of the Course

To provide with general and basic characteristics of Language of Karahanids

Course Content

The study and evaluation in terms of phonetics, syntax and morpology of the texts in original letters compiled with the works of Middle Turkish; comparatively determination of all kinds of structure development in terms of history of our language

1.The student recognizes the historical Turkish vernaculars Karakhanid
2.The student can analyze Turkish culture developing in many areas and different literary languages developing correspondingly to it
3.The students are expected to have access to new information on Karakhanids culture and utilize the sources within scientific criteria
4.The student recognizes the vocabulary of the Language of Karakhanids. He gets the ability to apprehend the comparisons and contrasts of this vocabulary with present modern Turkish vernaculars
5.The student recognizes the Old Turkish culture by relating to the disciplines that are parts of the culture like history and sociology, acquires a total overlook on his area by correlating similar and different aspects
