Objectives of the Course

Examining the history and civilizations of Anatolia from prehistoric ages to Persian hegemony in post graduate level.

Course Content

The aim of this course is; Starting from the earliest periods of time in the period until the era of the Persians invaded Anatolia, namely Turkey's history in a detailed way to reveal. Therefore, by reviewing the documents that will illuminant the history of Anatolia between the mentioned revolutions, the accuracy of the events will be questioned by comparing the information.

1.Being able to grasp literary and non-literary sources that shed light on the history of Anatolia.
2.Being able to compare and contrast the civilizations of Anatolia, Egypt and Mesopotamia.
3.Being able to grasp historical development process of Anatolia from prehistorical ages to Iron Age.
4. Being able to grasp historical development process of Anatolia from Iron Age to the Persian hegemony.
5.Being able to recognize all the researces about Ancient History of Turkey.
