This course aims to instruct to students describing struggles and formations, reforms that were made in the life of administration, politic, culture, education and community in the late Ottoman history
The formation of western style institutions starting with the Tanzimat Period in the Ottoman Empire and the developments in the administrative, political, military and cultural fields will be emphasized and the rights obtained by non-Muslims in the Tanzimat and Islahat process will be evaluated
