Objectives of the Course

In this course, the student is expected to have knowledge about the stages of Turkish democracy from the beginning of the modern political system. In addition, the question of whether the consciousness of democracy in the real sense is formed and the internalization of democratic values are discussed. students are intended to make inward evaluations.

Course Content

The political party activities that started with the Meşruti system, the late Ottoman period, the armistice, the first years of the republic, the process of transition to multi-party life, the parties established in this process and the electoral period party programs will be evaluated until 1980 military coup.
