The aim of the course; 1. To give graduate students basic concepts and facts about city history research 2. To give information about city and urbanization in the past
Concepts of city and urbanization; political, social and economic life in cities; purpose and scope in urban history research; agriculture, port, mining, industry, military center, bureaucracy, cities of science, art and culture; resources in urban history research.
