To inform master students about Mamluk period historians and their works.
Information will be given about the works and styles of Mamluk period authors Makrizi, Ibn Tagriberdi and Ibn Iyas.

| 1. | Students will be informed about Mamluk historians and historiography. |
| 2. | It will be enlightened on how to evaluate the works about Mamluk History. |
| 3. | The ability to criticize the sources of Mamluk History will be gained. |
| 4. | In terms of historiography, gains will be made in the use of resources. |
| 5. | Students will be taught to compare the other sources of the period with the Mamluk historical sources. |
