Objectives of the Course

1- to provide students with an understanding of urban change process and to help them to curb approaches towords city. 2- to provide students with an ability to cary out urban researches using sociological methods and techniques 3- to help students to make them be able to present solutions to urban problems 4- to provide students with a knowledge to make them able to look the city from differennt dimensions (such as space, poverty, class, adminstration, working life etc.) 5- to make them be able to analyse cities in Turkey from a global developments perspective
