Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to discuss transformations have emerged in the structure of social classes in the face of global and neoliberal developments. To pursue different appearings of social class at the present which has changed since 19 th and 20 th century. To conceive transformations have emerged in the structure of classes as parallel to transnational movements of capital, labour and production processes.

Course Content

The impacts of globalization on classes. To pursue of classes in the context of neo-proletariatization. Under class, new poverty, social exclusion and marginalization. Pierre Bourdieu: Class debates in the context of space, capital and habitus concepts. Hardt and Negri: Multitude and Non-material Labour debates.
