Objectives of the Course

The objective of this course is to introduce the basic concepts of feminist thoughts and to analyse the history of philosophy in point of feminist debates.

Course Content

The content of this course is to introduce the feminist debates within the frame of some divisions as sex and gender, public space and private space, equality and difference.

1.At the end of this course, the student will be able to
2.Gain the knowledge of basic concepts from feminism.
3.Comprehend the basic questions, problems and aspects of feminist discourse in terms of historical and theoretical perspective.
4.Evaluate the problems of women rights with respect to the philosophical, political and ethical conditions.
5.Analyze the discourse of women rights analytically 6. Evaluate current issues in the discussions of women rights.
