Objectives of the Course

Purpose of this course is to develop students’ skills to use the obtained information in the course “The Emergency and Intensive Care Nursing”.

Course Content

This course includes the systematic practice of nursing care in the pediatric emergency and intensive care units.

Learning Outcomes
1.Present as a written report and detect the appropriate approaches to ethical and legal issues faced by emergency and intensive care unit.
2.Present as a written report used the appropriate ways the sick child's health history and physical assessment
3.Identify triage and the most important factors of triage and apply the appropriate transport children and infants.
4.Apply the family-centered, holistic nursing care planning, implementation and evaluation related to the child's problems in emergency unit.
5.Apply the family-centered, holistic nursing care planning, implementation and evaluation related to the child's problems in intensive care unit.
