Objectives of the Course

To learn the concepts of science, theory, hypothesis, to have knowledge at a level to use scientific knowledge in the research process, to have the ability to decide on measurements and scales, to learn quantitative analysis techniques, to work with survey data, to apply surveys and transfer them to the computer environment, with the help of an analysis program, to make various analyzes and to interpret these analyzes.

Course Content

In this course, the concept of data and data recognition, statistical analyzes to be chosen in accordance with the purpose, and descriptive statistics in this context, parametric and non-parametric tests for comparisons of two and/or more than two groups, correlation analysis, regression analysis and factor analysis will be covered.

Learning Outcomes
1.Have knowledge about scientific research and scientific research process.
2.Gains knowledge of data entry, editing and basic operations in SPSS.
3.Gains knowledge of basic statistics.
4.Can investigate the relationships between variables in SPSS and explain these relationships statistically.
5.Gains knowledge of parametric and non-parametric analysis techniques and can make these analyses.
