The aim of this course is to teach students the basic concepts of Proteomics, to have analytical thinking about proteins, to teach that the proteome is the proteins produced by a cell or organism under certain conditions, how these molecules are related to each other and how they form a biological system, and to teach the use of proteomics applications in other branches of science.
Transition from Genomics to Proteomics, General Properties of Proteins, Separation techniques used in proteome analysis, Techniques used in the identification of proteins, Proteomics and analysis of protein sequences, Structural proteome analysis, Protein-protein interactions and proteomics, Protein modifications in proteome analysis, Protein chips and functional proteome analysis, Proteomics Applications
