Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to examine the relationship between cinema and philosophy, to discuss the philosophical possibilities of cinema, and to gain the ability to critique films philosophically through cinematic thinking.

Course Content

The relationship between cinema and philosophy is explained. A connection is established between criticism and cinema-philosophy. The idea of cinematic thinking is examined with sample films.
