Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to analyze the representation of women characters in the eighteenth-century English novel.

Course Content

In this course, social and literary developments in the eighteenth-century England will be analyzed, and the representation of women characters will be studied within the framework of feminist criticism.

1.To discover the fact that the novel is the most appropriate genre in reflecting the realist characteristics of woman image in 18th century English novel.
