The purpose of this course is to provide knowledge in infection control measures, through a problem-solving approach in learning nurses who are interested in the management of hospital infection control.
Introduction to infection control, national and international organizations and their policies on infection control, legistlation on ınfection control, legistlation on ınfection control, ınfection control nursing, descriptions, education and certificate programme, hospital infections- descriptions and classification, surgical site infection- guidelines, preventing surgical site infection - preoperative precautions, preventing surgical site infection- ıntraoperative precautions, preventing surgical site infection - postoperative precautions, ınfection control in surgery reviewing research.
