The aim of this course is to inform students about the applicability of theories in the field of linguistics to Turkish. To benefit from the developments in the field of linguistics in the process of teaching Turkish language structures.

Basic concepts of linguistics and linguistics, general features of language, linguistics approaches, branches of linguistics, linguistic theories and theorists, general evaluations about linguistics studies in the world and in Turkey, language teaching and linguistics relation application studies on Turkish texts.
