Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to present the effects of soil physical properties on plant development.

Course Content

Soil physical properties and plant root development, the effect of soil physical conditions on the nutrient uptake of the plant from the soil, plant and physical environment relations, effects of plant water consumption and water deficiency on physiological formations, soil structure-plant relationships.

Name of Lecturer(s)
Lec. Mehmet Reşat SÜMER
Learning Outcomes
1.Learn the effects of soil physical properties on the root development of the plant and provide the preparation of suitable soil conditions
2.By learning the importance of water in plant development, can explain the negativities in water stress conditions
3.Learns the effects of soil properties on nutrient uptake and transport and interpret the effects of physical properties on nutrition
4.Gaining interpretation about plant and physical environmental initiatives
5.Learning and applying the ways of keeping water in soil, soil moisture and measurement
