The goal of this course is to enable the students with the skills to make use of distance education tools for instructional purposes.
History of Distance Education (DE) applications in Turkey and worldwide, organization and process of distance education programs, Technologies used in delivery (Synchronous technologies, Asynchronous technologies), Types of distance education courses, learner profile in DE, content, teaching-learning activities, Major benefits of use, performance evaluation; evaluating distance education programs; problems and possible solutions in DE applications.
