Objectives of the Course

To have knowledge about general structure and importance of protozoa, important disease-causing protozoon species, treatments and preventation.

Course Content

The general structure of Protozoa, the importance and ecological demands of Protozoa, classification of Protozoa, Entamoeba histolytica, Giardia lamblia, Leishmania donovani, Leishmania tropica, Trypanosoma brucei , Trypanosoma cruzi, Trichomonas vaginalis, Cryptosporidium parvum, Acanthamoeaba, the treatment of protozoon diseases, the preventation of protozoon diseases.
