Objectives of the Course

The aim of the course is to get the students acquainted with the biologies, systematics, morphologies and ecologies of the reptiles of Turkey

Course Content

Introduction of the species belonging to the turtle, lizard and snake families in Turkey, their morphological, ecological and biological characteristics, distribution of the species and localities in Turkey.

1.Manages the classification of reptiles.
2.Understands the basic features of reptile groups.
3.Knows the differences between poisonous and non-poisonous snakes.
4.Gains information about the biology, ecology and morphology of reptiles living in Turkey.
5.Knows the reptile species living in our country.
6.Describes the habitats where reptiles live.
