Objectives of the Course

This course is designed for Msc students who needs to learn basic counting methods in microbiology. Our aim is to teach the students theoric and practical basis of microbiological counting. Learning of the importance and the number of microorganisms in various environments. Sampling for analyses,cultivation and It is necessary to know and application of numerical microbiological analysis techniques. Learning the distinguishing features of microorganisms between the groups

1.To be able to learn the techniques of microbiological counting.
2.To be able to learn the cultural and microscopic counting techniques and to be able to make applications related of these technical3
3.To be able to determine the microbiological count correctly and compare the results with appropriate standards
4.To be able to gain ability for the correct interpretation of the results of microbiological analysis and report writing
5.To be able to learn the possible use of learned methods of counting in practice
6.To be able to procure to evaluate the larned techniques and consumers' complaints
