The aim of this course is to give information about the formation of micronucleus, micronucleus detection technique and micronucleus detection in buccal cells.

Micronucleus test is a useful bioassay, which to investigate the genotoxic and carcinogenic potentials of all kinds of chemical substances that we are frequently exposed to in everyday life such as physical agents, drugs, environmental pollutants and food additives in all plant, animal and human cells that have undergone mitosis.
