Objectives of the Course

Understanding and learning the microscopic structure and properties of organs and systems.

Course Content

Microscopic structure of the respiratuar system; respiratory tract, lungs, circulation system; vascular and heart, digestive system; tongue, teeth, salivary glands, small and large intestines, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, ürinary system; ureter, bladder, kidney, genital system; male and female reproductive organs, nervous system; central and peripheral nervous system organs, endocrine system; pituitary, pineal, thyroid, pancreas, thymus, adrenal gland, ovary, testicle.

1.Gains basic theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in his/her field.
2.Gains information about the microscopic organization of animal tissues.
3.Defines the structure of organs and organs and understands their importance.

6.Gains basic knowledge and competencies for other biology courses and laboratories.
7.Discusses histology laboratory experiences and transfers his knowledge.
8.Researches databases related to histology, obtains information about current topics, and interprets the information obtained.
