With this course, it is aimed to prepare a ground for the students on the basic concept sets related to the field of human-computer interaction and to maintain advanced level discussions and skills afterwards.
Human-computer interaction, together with psychology, cognitive sciences, computer technologies, software engineering and design-based concept sets; It is an interdisciplinary field where common knowledge and method denominators from fields such as ergonomics, sociology, anthropology and educational sciences are integrated in user research. User-centered design and research methods will be discussed with basic academic readings in the course, and each method approach will be reinforced with research studies to be carried out with relevant equipment and methods.
