This compulsory course offers a methodological framework to the understanding of social sciences, particularly to the understanding of political science and international relations. The goal is to provide a comprehensive account of basic concepts, approaches and techniques frequently used in social sciences, as well as the required steps to conduct research.
The first half of the semester comprises diverse lectures given by the instructor on how to conduct academic reading and writing; the next half is planned according to student presentations.
