Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to discuss the concepts related to rivers, to understand the functions of urban rivers and their importance for the city and people, to question the interaction of urban rivers-environment-users.

Course Content

Examining the concepts of rivers, discussing the importance and functions of rivers, examining the urban river, human-space interaction by taking into account the spatial transformation.

2.To be able to perceive the importance of urban rivers for the city and society
3.To be able to evaluate the interaction of urban rivers and environment

5.To be able to follow and evaluate the designs and applications of urban river corridors in various countries, to monitor developments
6.To be able to use initiative in individual studies and adopt the principle of complying with scientific and ethical values.
