Objectives of the Course

To learn of biological and genetical principles of insect behaviour, programs, coordination, meeting, feeding, chemical commnication, visual communication, mechanical communication and protection, breeding of insect behaviour patterns.

Course Content

Introduction to behavioral science, sense organs in insects, behaviour patterns of insects, ınstinctual and complex behaviours of insects, behaviour periodicity of insects, ımhabiting in insects, ımmigration types of insects, tending activities in insects, communication of insects, alarm and assembly activities in social insects, host selection in social insects.
