Objectives of the Course

The aim of the course; The aim of this study is to determine the most suitable crop production systems and crop rotations under different ecological conditions in terms of yield, quality and environment in the period when changing environmental conditions and population increase and decreasing soil fertility occur.

Course Content

The aim of the lecture is to introduce the most suitable plant production systems within the framework of ecological conditions of different regions. In this context, it is aimed to determine the crop plants that are compatible with each other, to determine the sowing frequency and to evaluate their economic dimensions in the development of crop systems under the current ecological conditions. In this course, the effects of long-term test results on plant yield, quality and soil properties are examined. Crop systems suitable for the regions are introduced. In addition, issues related to the reduction of fallow land in arid and semi-arid regions are discussed. In addition, different soil tillage applications and mineral, organic and mineral-organic combinations of plant production systems and the use of the effects on yield and quality are presented.
