Objectives of the Course

To gain knowledge and skills about suture, suture needles and other materials.

Course Content

The course content include the qualifications of the suture materials, numbering system, organic and resorbable suture materials, organic and non-resorbable suture materials, synthetic and resorbable suture materials, synthetic and non-resorbable suture materials, metal sutures used for ligament-tendon and bone fixations, the selection of suture material according to soft tissues, sutures used in eye and micro surgery.
