To gain knowledge and skills about fluid and electrolyte inbalances and their treatment.
The course content include fluid balance, electrolytes, cation-anion balance, osmolality, normal water requirement, dehydration types, the methods used to calculate the loss of liquid, the fluid selection, crystalloid and colloid fluids, fluid administration methods, the calculation of fluid volume, commercial preparations.
