Objectives of the Course

The objective of this course is to give information about systematic bacteriology.

Course Content

Identification and naming of bacteria. Methods for classification of bacteria. Procaryotics and eucaryotics. Classification of bacteria starting from order to species. Determination of bacterial differences using practical methods at the level of genus and species. Determination of sizes of bacteria, virus, fungi and protozoa according to international metric system. Classification and naming of fungi. Evaluation of bacteria and viruses based on their genom sizes.
