The objective of this course is to give information about mycotic ınfections and laboratory diagnosis.
Mycotic infections seen in human and animals: Dermatomycosis, Trichophytosis, Microsporosis, dermatophilosis, Rhinosporidiosis, Sporotrichosis, Blastomycosis. The microscopical morphological characteristics of samples taken. Immunology of pathogenic fungi. The colony macro and micromorphologies of cutan, subcutan and systemic mycosis. Cultural investigations of samples. Animal experiments. Serological and allergical investigations.
