The objective of this course is to give information about pathogenesis and classification in streptococcus and staphylococcus ınfections.
The characteristic of criteria of pathogenic staphylococ and streptococ species causing infections in animals. Classification of staphylococcoae based on their enzymatic functions. Determination of antigenic characters of cell wall. The presence of structures showing virulance. The role of the cell structures of staphylococcus in pathogenesis and their features to produce toxin. The role of cell structures in pathogenesis. Their enzymatic functions and their resistance for antibiotics.
